Disable Windows 7 UAC

in How To, Windows 7

Anyone that has ever used Vista either right from the start, or eventually learned to hate the UAC. Yes unfortunately it appears in Windows 7, but (clap now), there’s a very easy way to turn it off! Now be mindful, after much experimenting and tweaking settings and changing options, the UAC  in Windows 7 comes no where near as close to being as bad as Vista. There are several options after opening the UAC interface you can choose from.

Click on the Windows icon and in the search bar type UAC and hit enter. The box above should appear within moments. I find that setting just above “Never notify” gives a comfortable balance between security and nagging. However if you wish to be rid of it, simply drag the slider to the bottom and rest easy as you will never see it again. :)
