WP-SpamFree Review

Well I have used the Wp-SpamFree Plugin for a couple months and let me tell you all it is the best I have tried thus far. Luckily, I have not had one piece of spam come through into my moderation cue that I have had to delete. This plugin, thus far, has caught well over 1000 spam comments. There are tons upon tons of available options that are available to tweak after you install. Not all of them I use personally, but I can point out a few that I do use.  The first is an option to disable trackbacks. Now I dont normally like to do this but when you have excessive spam coming from them, this is one quick way to end that. Another option I would reccommend using through this plugin is the “include technical data in email”, this is handy when your getting spam to your email account through your website. It will show you valuable things such as Ip adress and web server used. You can then in turn, add these to your blocked list. If anyone has any questions reguarding this plugin or its features please feel free to let me know, Id be glad to help.
